Flat Glass made by the float technology is called Float Glass. The float technology is to pull the melting glass continuously into a melting tin trough protected by protective gas. It is interacted by different densities, gravity and surface tensions and then the melting glass floats and flattens on a melting tin surface. The belt is drawn to the other end of the trough and undergoes polishing process by top flaming, thinning, cooling and hardening. It is then drawn to the transitional rollers and anneal kiln. The belt goes through another process of cooling, annealing and cutting into specific sizes. The quality of the Float Glass is uniformed, transparent and pure. The composition of the glass is very smooth with its high optical property. 
Float Glass can be used to build doors, windows, screen walls, roofs and automobile windows. It can also be applied to almost all buildings.
